Join the KwaZulu-Natal Museum Careers Workshop from 28 September to 2 October 2026 and explore the exciting range of careers available in the museum and heritage sector. Each day will focus on a different area of the Museum:

28 Sept | Education Department

Discover careers in teaching, public programmes, museum education and community engagement.

29 Sept | Department of Human Science

Explore people, cultures, history, anthropology, archaeology and heritage.

30 Sept | Exhibitions Department

See how exhibitions are researched, planned, designed and brought to life.

1 Oct | Natural Science Department

Explore careers involving animals, fossils, insects, research, collections and the natural world.

2 Oct | Library / Finance / Marketing

 

Discover the careers that help keep a museum running, from managing information and finances to marketing and public engagement.
