As part of International Day of Persons with Disabilities celebrations, the Museum's outreach team, accompanied by representatives from the South African Human Rights Commission, visited Inkanyezi Protective Workshop in Imbali. The visit aimed to engage residents on their respective rights and responsibilities within society as individuals living with disabilities. Additionally, and in light of the saying, "𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐔𝐬, 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐔𝐬," the visit also aimed to encourage residents to become active citizens and voice out the challenges they encounter on a daily basis, as this would facilitate a more inclusive and supportive society for all.
