We hosted our first Museum sleepover last night with Simama Academy, and it was nothing short of magical.
The night was packed with learning and exploration, featuring a behind-the-scenes tour of the Human Sciences Department's storerooms, along with an archaeology presentation by Rock Art Specialist, Dr. Ghilraen Laue. This was followed by a nighttime tour of the Museum's galleries and an archaeology-themed arts and crafts session, by the Education Department team.
A heartfelt thank you to Simama Academy for being a part of this captivating initiative. You too can partake in The Sleepover @ The Museum experience, and enjoy interactive activities like guided tours, crafts, scavenger hunts, animal tracking, storytelling, and much more. Just follow the information below (Terms & Conditions Apply).
N.B: The sleepover is geared towards schools and organised clubs.
N.B: bookings to be made 3 weeks in advance.
