The KwaZulu-Natal Museum is pleased to announce that refurbishment work on our public ablution facilities will begin shortly and is expected to continue over the next four months.
This project is part of our ongoing commitment to improving the visitor experience. The upgrades will include the replacement of outdated hardware such as pipes, sanitary fittings, and tiles, giving the facilities a much-needed refresh.
In addition to these upgrades, significant work will be undertaken to improve the overall water supply to the building. This includes the installation of water storage tanks and booster pumps, along with the replacement of select water pipes. Once complete, the improvements will help ensure a more consistent and reliable water supply across all floors of the Museum.
We thank all our visitors and staff for their patience and understanding during this period and look forward to welcoming you to improved facilities soon.
