Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for the opening of the University of KwaZulu-Natal’s Digital Arts Honours Exhibition at the KZN Museum. The turnout was superb and the energy in the gallery made for a great start to the week-long showcase.

 

Guests enjoyed an impressive mix of 2D and 3D animation, comics, digital installations, photography, and 3D graphics created by this year’s Honours students. For many of them, it’s the first time sharing their work with the public, and the support meant a great deal.

 

A special thank you to Diane Hay for her insightful opening address. Her experience in film, visual culture, and support for emerging creatives brought valuable insight to the opening and set the perfect tone for the exhibition.
