Dr Ghilraen Laue’s latest publication, Rock Art of the Waterberg: Rites and Transformation, co-authored with Lyn Wadley, has recently been released. Launched on 9 December at the Origins Centre, Wits University, the book explores over 130 ancient rock art sites in the Waterberg, shedding light on the beliefs, rituals, and cultural practices of the region’s past.
The KwaZulu-Natal Museum will host a launch of the book in the new year, featuring a special talk on the fascinating Waterberg rock art.
