Arbour Week Social Media Campaign  

To mark Arbour Week 2025, the KwaZulu-Natal Museum ran a social media campaign inviting the public to celebrate with us. Visitors to the Museum were offered complimentary vegetable and plant seedlings as part of their general tour.

This initiative was made possible through the generous support of the KZN National Botanical Garden (Pietermaritzburg) and the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, who donated seedlings and trees towards our Arbour Month activities.

We are grateful for their contribution, which not only enriched the visitor experience but also encouraged our community to take small, meaningful steps in planting for the future.
