Holds a BSc (Hons) Archaeology degree from WITS University and has a strong interest in Iron Age archaeology and zooarchaeology. She will be joining the Museumโs Human Science Dept. as part of the HSRC internship programme for the next 2 years.
An entomologist and DIPoDIP PhD. student at the KZN Museum and University of Pretoria. His research focus is the taxonomic revision of the Afrotropical nose fly genus Rhyncomya (Calliphoridae: Rhiniinae) as part of the DIPoDIP project. Ben will be based at the Museumโs Natural Science Dept. for the next 3 years.

Joins the Museumโs Human Science Dept. as part of the KZN Amafa Internship programme. Lethokuhle holds a BA Degree, majoring in Political Science and Sociology from the University of KZN. She will be with the Museum for the next 6 months.

Holds a diploma in Public Management from uMgungundlovu TVET College and joins the Museum as part of the KZN Amafa Internship programme. She will join the Administrative Department, as part of the Human Resources team for the next 6 months.

Recently graduated from Rhodes University with a BFA degree, Noxolo joins the Exhibitions Dept. as she seeks to gain invaluable work experience over the next 3 weeks.

The trainees will join the Education Departmentโs front-line staff for the next 6 months.
