The KZN Museum is definitely the place to visit this end of term break. The Museum has ensured two weeks of fun activities to make sure no one will be bored during the holiday! From the 18 - 22 March the Museum will be hosting a free Book Swap from 10am - 2pm each day. In celebration of Library Week the public is invited to visit the Museum and pick up a book or two, completely free of charge. You can also drop off any unwanted books to the Museum before or during the event. All books, in good condition, will be accepted.
Samukelisiwe Ngubane, Information Officer at the KwaZulu-Natal Museum is busy trying out the different crafts in readiness for the March Holiday Programme. The programme will run from the 25 - 29 March from 9am - 11am each day. The cost is R 25 per day and the activities are suitable for young children between the ages of 5 - 13 years. Activities include fun interactive sessions about bees and mosquitos, including craft activities, learn about flightless birds and make a chicken pom pom, Easter craft activities and rock art painting.
