A wide range of curriculum enrichment lectures are available for ALL grades. Education staff make use of specimens, exhibits and the talks are also enriched by the use of notes and worksheets. Talks/tours can be designed to suit the educator’s or school's needs and these include:

Venue Hire

Did you know that the KZN Museum has two venues that can be hired for meetings/workshops/conferences and even birthday parties? We cater for large or small groups, for various types of gatherings at very affordable rates.

The John Pringle Hall accommodates up to 200 people seated in cinema style and the Ingede (lecture) Theatre seats around 60 people comfortably.

Pringle Hall R 675.00 per hour (capacity 200) inclusive of AV Equipment, tables and chairs
R 500.00 per hour (tables and chairs only)

Ingede Theatre R 500.00 per hour (capacity 63) inclusive of AV Equipment
R 300.00 per hour (no use of AV equipment)

Mammal Hall R 1350.00 per hour (capacity 300) inclusive of AV Equipment, tables and chairs
R 1000.00 per hour (tables and chairs only)
