The Cell C Take a Girl Child to Work online Programme with the KZN Museum. The programme has been progressing well and the learners have really enjoyed the process so far.

The learners completed part one, which is "Building My Vision” where the grade 8 & 9 learners completed the online assessment, made their own vision board, and set goals for themselves.

They shared their experiences of the programme with us along with a look at their vision boards. We will feature the videos of the participants over the next couple of weeks.

Chief Education Officer (Outreach) Marsha Kalika has successfully taken Cell C Take a Girl Child to Work Day online as the KZN Museum completed the first workshop on Thursday, 23 July. Ten Grades 8 and 9 learners from Bethel Christian Academy got to “discover their path” through activities that allowed for the discovery of their personalities, creating a vision board and mission, setting SMART goals and job shadowing. The learners will conclude the session by completing their personal online career test, (www.cellcgirl.co.za), which will assist them in choosing a career path and submitting their personalised vision boards which will be shared on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using hashtag #TAGCTWDVisionBoard on the 30th July. Each participating learner has received a resource pack of Grade 8 and 9 Natural Science Study Guides to assist them with their continued learning.
