National Science Week Day 2

NSW2018# Day 2 was so much of fun. The theme was "telling a story with waste". The grade 10 and 11 learners interacted with Museum archaeologists and learnt about how technology and innovation influenced people's lives in the past. Learners then participated in a practical exercise called "The Rubbish Prac". Waste from different environments including items from the past were laid out on table. The learners then had to go through the waste items, like a detective would, piecing together information about people from the clues they found in the rubbish. At the end of the exercise each group presented their findings and they had so much of fun in the process. #kznmuseum
