The DUT visit, led by lecturer Dr. Yachal du Plessis, combines academic theory with practical application. As part of their coursework, 118 students participated in an innovative assessment which involved developing a communications strategy for the Museum based on their observations and insights.

 

A central component of the assessment requires students to design mock social media posts aimed at garnering public support for the Museum. They focus on concepts such as ego gratification and legacy building to create engaging content that showcases the Museum’s value.
