KwaZulu-Natal Museum staff members from the Technical, Exhibitions and Human Science Departments, recently attained their certificates of completion for a Preventative Conservation training course, presented by Rozelle Greyling (Heritage and Cultural Sciences department at the University of Pretoria). The training course which ran from the 8th -10th of April, focused on collections care and management and covered topics such as environmental monitoring, pest management, structural stabilisation, correct handling protocols and preservation through good housekeeping practices.
