Don’t worry! We have more snakes in the collection room

Over the last few months, our successful outreach programmes led by the Education and PR & Marketing departments have regularly utilised items from our natural science collections. Among these, the snake collection has reportedly been the most preferred by the members of our community to look at. We have learned that our visitors are fascinated with snakes and most often some would not believe that these specimens were a real ‘thing’.

If you have visited the KZN Museum before and did not see as many snakes as you anticipated, well don’t worry! We have more snakes in the collection room. Come visit again and let us know your wish.
