A collective of representatives from the KwaZulu-Natal Museum's two research departments attended the 88th edition of the South African Museums Association National Conference. The KZN Museum delegates engaged in discussions on how museums can adapt to the digital age, addressing the challenges of relevance and inclusivity in a post-democracy era. The conference offered opportunities for museum professionals to explore innovative strategies for leveraging digital technologies, ensuring that museums continue to play a vital role in education, research, and cultural curation.
Well done to Mr Mudzunga Munzhedzi and Miss Sanelisiwe Zondi on winning the best presentation and best novice presentation awards respectively.
