Mission: To celebrate our natural and cultural heritage by creating exhibitions that are 'edu-taining', encouraging public interaction and participation in dynamic lifelong learning experience.

• Design and produce displays that are interactive, involving public participation and dynamic learning
• Produce exhibits reflective of our nation's cultural diversity
• Upgrade old exhibits and make them user-friendly
• Create temporary and travelling displays that keep the public informed
• Incorporate the use of multimedia technology in exhibits
• Introduce ?Living Heritage' by hosting workshops and skills development programmes
• Establish partnerships with the public and private sector through shared initiatives
• Raise funds by offering our expertise to other organizations, institutions

• Maintain Museum building.
• Maintain museum vehicles.
• Oversee projects running in the museum.
• Give technical support to all departments.
• Control all consumables used in the day to day running of the museum.
• Take stock of all equipment belonging to the museum.
• Negotiate with the Department of Public Works on outstanding/ future work.
