An exhibition exploring the history of segregation in the United States will be hosted at the Natal Museum from the 1^st November 2007 to the 31^st October 2008.

The Apartheid Museum and the United States Consulate General launched an exhibition entitled ‘Separate Is Not Equal: The struggle against segregated education in America' on 20 June 2005. This exhibition explores the history of segregation in the United States. It focuses on the struggles and legal challenges against segregated education, culminating in the momentous Supreme Court decision of Brown vs the Board of Education in 1954, and examines the subsequent decades of struggle for racial equality.
